Behavioral Testing

Behavioral impairments are at the root of almost all psychiatric and neurodevelopmental disorders. For example motor impairments in Parkinson’s disease or social withdrawal/avoidance in affective disorders and autism spectrum disorder. Therefore, in order to fully understand the intricate and underlying mechanisms behavioral testing is necessary to first establish what areas of behavior are affected and thus, what mechanisms or applications are necessary to further treat or prevent the behavior.
