In-depth Modul Institutional Economics
Economic analysis focusing on the development of suitable institutional solutions for major economic and social problems is a particular focus of the Economics programme at the University of Marburg. In this in-depth module, you will learn about analytical tools in institutional economics analysis and how to apply them to problems in environmental economics, development economics, competition and regulation, as well as to economic analysis of law and other areas. In other words, studying institutions prepares students for a broad range of work in various fields, both in professional practice and in academia.
