Kinetographic analysis of gait dynamics under low-frequency, image-guided deep brain stimulation in patients with Parkinson's disease
Description
This study aims to identify optimal stimulation locations for low-frequency deep brain stimulation (DBS) in Parkinson's disease (PD) patients with gait disorders using kinetographic methods. The precise image-guided adaptation of the stimulation is intended to lead to an individualised improvement of the gait disorder. The study will contribute to the development of tailored stimulation protocols to improve the efficacy of DBS in a clinical context and to minimise side effects.
