Semester Program - German as a Foreign Language


The courses for German as a Foreign Language offered by the Language Centre are open to all members of the Philipps-Universität. They include semester courses at the A1-C1 level and two intensive courses.

Classes preparing for language exams that are needed for the application at a German university like Testdaf or DSH are NOT offered by the Language Center. If you are interested in the DSH exam, please contact the Studienkolleg Mittelhessen.

  • No booking is possible at the moment. Course booking for the winter semester has finished. Course booking for the summer semester will start on 23 April 2025.
  • The placement for the summer semester of 2025 starts again on 10 March 2025

Please note: The password registration from 4 to 9 April 2025 is only for course continuers of winter semester 2024/25. The regular registration will start on Wednesday, 23 April at 6:00 p.m.
