About the Project "Enhancing Diversity through Digital Accessibility"
The project "Enhancing Diversity through Digital Accessibility" ("V#d - Vielfalt digital stärken") aims to promote digital accessibility at the University of Marburg. During the first phase of the project (August 2019 to March 2021), the project took place in cooperation between the Department of Educational Science and the Department for Academic Affairs and Teaching (Dezernat III). In the meantime, the project has been integrated into the Service Center for Students with Diasbilities (SBS) at the Department for Academic Affairs and Teaching (Dezernat III) and is funded by the Hessian Ministry of Science and Research, Art and Culture as part of the Hessian Digital Pact (Hessischer Digitalpakt Hochschulen) for Universities.
The project facilitates the networking of key players in the field of digital accessibility. The aim is to jointly create sustainable structures and processes to continuously enhance digital accessibility at the University of Marburg and contribute to raising awareness for digital barriers.
