BE A TUTOR!
Join us and help international students!
Philipps-Universität Marburg is once again expecting a large number of exchange students and international first-year students from all over the world for the upcoming semester. The International Office is therefore looking for tutors who would like to help carrying out the orientation program for international students.
Are you interested in learning about new cultures, making new friends and helping international students from all over the world? Have you already participated in an exchange program or are you planning a stay abroad? Have you ever been in the situation of having to deal with the various administrative tasks in a foreign country? In that case, you know that a good start to your studies can make it easier to adapt to a new environment. We therefore invite you to take part in the orientation program as tutor support international students.
For each semester, we organize two one-week orientation programs. As part of the tutor activities, a training takes place where you have the opportunity to get to know the other tutors and prepare for the tasks in the orientation program. The training is a prerequisite for working as a tutor. It is going to be held in English, although we can also switch between German and English as required. It takes place approximately one week before the orientation programs. As soon as the dates are confirmed, they will be published here. After the orientation program, you will receive a certificate confirming your participation in the training and your commitment as a tutor.
Training days:
