Center for Mind, Brain and Behavior (CMBB)

At the Center for Mind, Brain and Behavior (CMBB), scientists from Philipps-Universität Marburg, Justus Liebig University Giessen and Technical University of Darmstadt jointly pursue basic and translational research questions. Studies range from analyses of sub-cellular processes to investigations of the brain as a whole.
MECAM

Under the leadership of the University of Marburg the BMBF funded Merian Centre for Advanced Studies in the Maghreb (MECAM) was established at Université de Tunis – together with international and german partners (GIGA Hamburg, Forum Transregional Studies Berlin, Leipzig University).
Microcosm Earth Center

The Microcosm Earth Center, a cooperation between Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology and the Philipps-Universität Marburg, lays the foundation for the early development of new research fields and the promotion of outstanding junior researchers in microbiology.
