Contents

Studying this minor subject will enable you to explain, discuss and analyse past and present processes of economic and social history. Import modules from various business and social science courses will teach you basic interdisciplinary skills (e.g. Geography, Ethnology, Business and Economics, Political Science, Sociology). Acquiring theoretical and methodological skills will enable you to understand economic and social developments and to present their interaction with politics, culture, technology and institutions. You will be able to weigh up and employ methods from both economics and history.
