Award for Excellent Doctoral Supervision

Philipps-Universität Marburg is once again announcing the Award for Excellent Doctoral Supervision. With this prize, we want to honor the special commitment in actively accompanying young researchers up to their doctorate in the form of a prize. Doctoral researchers and postdocs up to three years after the doctorate (individuals or groups) as well as departments and scientific centers can submit proposals. Philipps-Universität Marburg calls for nominations of persons who distinguish themselves by a particular motivation in the supervision of doctoral researchers and who strengthen the quality of doctoral supervision at the Philipps-Universität Marburg through innovative measures.

The Philipps-Universität Marburg awards the prize and 2500 Euro each year to two supervisors, one from the humanities and social sciences and one from the natural and life sciences.  Particular consideration will be given to the nominator's personal statement (final part of the nomination form).
