The lecture will be held in German. 

The lecture analyzes current notions of temporality as an inversion of those modern temporality structures whose genesis in the early modern period Reinhart Koselleck has worked out. Salvation-historical eschatology, rational prognostics and the historical philosophy of progress continue to shape the horizon of expectation, albeit in the opposite direction. They find their common vanishing point in an apocalypticism without an eschaton.
