  To help you plan your studies, you can consult the course plans (in your respective examinations regulations), the electronic course catalogue in MARVIN, and the websites of the various research groups. If you have questions, the Student Advisory Service will help you.

  The seminar places for the following semester are allocated at the end of the previous semester. Students can find specific information in the News of the School of Business & Economics. The dates and deadlines for registration for the examination can be found in the semester calendar.

  The interdisciplinary modules open up a multitude of options in the areas. Information on the courses that can be taken can be found in the course catalog in MARVIN. The complete range can also be found in the import module lists on the download page.

• Inhalt ausklappen Inhalt einklappen Key Qualifications

  Various modules or events are open to acquire credit points in the key qualifications module. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the examinations office.

• Inhalt ausklappen Inhalt einklappen International Exchange

  Whether Russia, South Africa, China, the US or Australia, or somewhat closer, like Spain, Turkey or Poland - the School of Business and Economics and Marburg University have exchange agreements with many different universities, both within and outside of Europe. Students are advised to apply for a semester abroad as early as possible. If you need advice, visit the International Student Advisory Service, where you will also find information about the School’s international programmes.

Preparation for the Post-Graduate Period

The School of Business and Economics tries to help students get on track for a successful career even before they graduate. Numerous projects, events and initiatives are designed to prepare students for their future careers, teach soft skills, give students the opportunity to participate and provide career planning advice, such as the Career Centre of the School of Business and Economics, the Student Initiatives, and the University’s Career Centre (only available in German).

After completing the Bachelor's degree in Economics, you will have the option of continuing to a Master's programme. The Master's degrees offered by the School of Business & Economics can be found here.
