In accordance with the scientific alignment of the Psychology program, in Marburg you will receive a solid fundamental and methodologically oriented education. Furthermore, you will be comprehensively prepared for professional work as a psychologist.
The essential concepts, theories, methods and empirical findings of the basic and application subjects of psychology are imparted in the required modules.
Major topics
Professional qualification is particularly carried out via the application fields of Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychology, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Neuropsychology, Counseling and Mediation Psychology, as well as Psychological Diagnosis.
Objectives
The 6-semester Psychology bachelor's program leads to an initial professional qualifying degree and qualifies you to begin a consecutive master's program. Professional opportunities for successful graduates include counseling work in the fields of health, education and business.

Education certificates General higher education entrance qualification, subject-related higher education entrance qualification, technical college entrance qualification or master’s certificate and comparable certificates from advanced professional training or professional qualifications
In case you can start studying without having to attend German classes first and areequal to German applicants (What does "equal" mean? Please inform yourself at Hochschulstart)please note that there is a test you can take before applying for Psychology. Further information can be found at our German website.
