Trial Studies for (Yet-to-be) Students

The range of possible studies can be quite overwhelming for future students. Without any experience or idea of how things work at a university, such a decision can be quite difficult.

This is why the Philipps-University of Marburg offers trial studies to show you how studying feels like and to give you the opportunity to get into contact with current students of the B.A. Language, Discourse and Power. In a trial study, you participate in regular seminars and can talk to students, instructors and advisors of various courses of studies.

Exploring the University

Once a year for two days, you can explore the Philipps-University during the Hochschulerkundungstage. We offer special informational events including teaching examples and give you the opportunity to ask instructors and students about studying at Marburg.

Get into Contact

If those two options don't give you all the information you need, you can get into contact with us directly.

The student council is responsible for any concerns regarding the students. They are also the ones organising the orientation week which takes place shortly before the winter semester starts. At the student council, you will get rather informal information regarding the courses of studies and day-to-day studying. If you have more concrete questions about the B.A. Language, Discourse and Power, you can get into contact with the student advisor, for more general questions about studying, check out the Zentrale Allgemeine Studienberatung (ZAS).

Module Responsibility

If you want to get in contact with the B.A. Language, Discourse and Power's module coordinators, you can check out the following list.
