Coordination Center for Clinical Trials
The KKS Marburg was founded in April 2000 as an independent institution of the Faculty of Medicine of the Philipps University Marburg. Since 01.01.2019, we have an additional branch office at the Justus Liebig University Giessen. The KKS Marburg supports physicians and scientists in all sub-areas of planning, application, implementation and evaluation of clinical studies. We can take over the complete study management, including sample size calculation, protocol design, analysis and joint publication. In addition, our ECRIN-certified Data Center can provide all processes of data management and IT supply for special requirements / environments. Our main focus is on the so-called investigator initiated trials (IIT: Investigator Initiated Trial). In addition, we handle all contracts for patient-oriented clinical research for researchers at Philipps University Marburg and Justus Liebig University Giessen. For a good cooperation with you, we assume that the planned project has medical and scientific relevance and that compliance with ethical principles, legal regulations and international ICH-GCP standards is also a matter of course for you.
