2. Criteria for personal disciplinary suitability

The eligibility assessment process is based on the following criteria.

  • Final grade

Up to 55 eligibility points are awarded for the final grade or the provisional final grade according to the following scheme:

    • decimal grade 0,7 to 1,4 (Grade points 15.0 to 12.7) = 55 points
    • decimal grade 1,5 to 2,3 (Grade points 12.6 to 10.0) = 45 points
    • decimal grade 2,4 to 3,2 (Grade points 9.9 to 7.3) = 35 points

The specifications are based on the grade scale according to § 28 of the General Terms of the Philipps University Marburg. In the case of a degree from another university, the decimal grade given by the university applies. There is no conversion to the Marburg grading system.

  • Final thesis

10 eligibility points are awarded for proof that an academic thesis of at least 10 CP is compulsory in the relevant undergraduate degree program. In the case of an optional final thesis, 10 eligibility points are awarded if it can be proven that this has already been completed or registered.
