In February 2025, the ViLU group hosted Ágnes Lukács, professor at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Her research explores the relationship between language-specific and cognitive processes, with a particular focus on age-related changes in language processing.

In 2024, Ágnes and Florian published their joint paper "The role of general cognitive skills in integrating visual and linguistic information during sentence comprehension: individual differences across the lifespan" in Scientific Reports.

On February 12, Ágnes gave a talk at the linguistic colloquium titled "Cognitive and linguistic variability: A lifespan perspective on language development", where she presented insights from her research.
