In February 2020 Dr. Albrecht Fuess gave a lecture on the years of the German explorer Ulrich Jasper Seetzen in Cairo (1807-1809) at Clusters of Scientific Innovation in the Middle East and North Africa (COSIMENA) in Cairo. Special attention was paid to the Gotha collection of Arabic manuscripts, which counts as the third largest of its kind in Germany.
