The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) is a state university located in Richardson, a suburb of Dallas, Texas. The university, founded by Eugene McDermott, J. Erik Jonsson and Cercil Green, is home to over 18,000 students.
The School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences includes economists who have earned a national and international reputation, have received many scholarships and awards, and are the editors of a number of highly regarded academic journals such as the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization and Defense and Peace Economics. The course program of the School of Economics offers a wide range of options for both Bachelor and Master students.
