Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam which is the political, economic, cultural and educational center of the country. The city is located in the center of the Northern Delta with an estimated population of 8 million people, and covers an area of nearly 3,330 km2. Hanoi is an ancient city which had been established and developed for over 1,000 years since 1010. Hanoi is also a major tourist destination, with 18.7 million domestic and international visitors per year.
