21.07.2023 Depot Work in Brussels

From July 10th to 12th Christiane Clados conducted research at the Royal Museums of Arts and History, Brussels, Belgium. The collection-based research is part of the project "More than writing - Coding and decoding (in) Amerindian graphisms between Mexico and the Andes", which is funded by the German Research Foundation. The aim was to document graphic communication on rare Tiwanaku vessels for food and drink and to examine the relation between pragmatic use, graphic expressions, and vessel content.
