You will visit typical courses from this program and you will have the opportunity to have chats with students, as well as with our professors, lecturers, and advisors.

Für zwei Tage die Philipps-Universität genau unter die Lupe nehmen – das können Sie einmal im Jahr bei den Hochschulerkundungstagen. Es werden besondere Info-Veranstaltungen mit Unterrichtsbeispielen angeboten und Sie haben die Möglichkeit, direkt Lehrende und Studierende zum Studium in Marburg zu befragen.
University Exploration
Take in Philipps-University closely under a magnifying glass – you can do this once a year during the University Exploration Days (“Hochschulerkundungstage”). On these days, we will offer a broad variety of informational events including example lectures. You will also have the opportunity to make contact with professors, lecturers and students regarding all your questions.

Wem Hochschulerkundung und Schnupperstudium nicht ausreichende Informationen liefern, der kann auch direkt bei uns am Institut nachfragen.
Ansprechpartner/innen für Fragen, Probleme oder andere Sorgen der Studierenden ist die aktive Fachschaft. Sie organisiert auch jedes Jahr kurz vor Beginn des Wintersemesters die Orientierungseinheit, oder kurz „OE“, bei der sich neue Studierende direkt kennen lernen können. Bei der Fachschaft gibt es eher informelle Infos zum Studium und Studienalltag. Wenn Sie konkrete Fragen zum Studium haben, können Sie mit der Fachstudienberatung für den B.A. American, British, and Canadian Studies Kontakt aufnehmen, bei allgemeinen Fragen zum Studium wenden Sie sich am besten an die Zentrale Allgemeine Studienberatung (ZAS).

The active student council is here to help students with questions, problems or other concerns. It also organizes the orientation week (OE) every year, which takes place immediately before the beginning of each winter semester. Here, students have a chance to get to know each other better. The student council also provides more casual information regarding the day-to-day life of a student. If you have specific questions about your study program, you can contact the Student Advisory Service for B.A. American, British, and Canadian Studies. If you have more general questions about your studies, it is best to contact the Central General Student Advisory Service (ZAS).
