What is the Fall School?
The hybrid Fall School "Untangling Climate Mobility Narratives" is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on various forms of climate-induced mobility, such as migration, displacement, relocation, and immobility, as well as their representation in the media. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experts in the field, engage in panel discussions and workshops, and familiarize themselves with the latest methodological approaches. It is organized by Philipps-Universität Marburg, Germany, and CIES-Iscte, Iscte, Portugal as part of the DAAD project "Facts First: Untangling the Nexus of Human (Im)Mobility and Climate in Europe. The Fall School will be held in English and the online participation is not associated with any costs..Who is it for?
The Fall School is aimed at bachelor’s and master’s students, as well as early-stage PhD students, who are interested in the topics of climate mobility and media narratives.What is in it for you?
Besides becoming knowledgeable in the field of climate-related human (im)mobility and narratives in the media, you will meet many like-minded peers and experts. Last but not least, you will receive a certificate for active participation in the Fall School.How can you apply?
