Research Projects 2020-2022 Development of a digital consultation support tool to promote physical activity in people with chronic back painDevelopment of a digital consultation support tool to promote physical activity in people with chronic back pain
2016-2023 The Promoting Activity, Independence and Stability in Early Dementia (PrAISED) research programme developed and evaluates a multi-component intervention to support people with mild cognitive impairment and mild dementia to stay independent for longer. The intervention includes physiotherapy, occupational therapy, motivational psychology and educational elements. 2013-2014 The Balance and the Mind project developed an intervention to reduce the risk of falls in people with mild cognitive impairment and early stage dementia and explored the perspectives of people with dementia, family carers and clinicians about the feasibility and acceptability of falls prevention treatments.
