23.10.2023 Open Science Days Marburg 2023

This year we present the Open Science Days 2023 (part of Brainhack global). We will provide information on Open Science and will work on several projects. Also included will be a discussion on Open Science visions with stakeholders of the Philipps University of Marburg.

From fundamental definitions and basic tools to hands-on workshops and collaborative projects: the Open Science Initiative University Marburg (OSIUM)* offers a two-day program to equip you with the skills for implementing Open Science at any stage of your learning, teaching or research career.

In the mornings, we will have brief overview presentations to familiarize ourselves with important Open Science concepts and tools.
Furthermore, we’ll have project work slots. In these time slots you can apply the Open Science concepts and tools you learned earlier in the day to your own project or work on already registered projects collaboratively.

On day 2 from 4pm, we’ll end with a discussion about Open Science visions with stakeholders of the Philipps University of Marburg.

Join us, either for the whole program or parts only and learn how to make transparent science by improving replicability, fostering comprehensibility, and encouraging accessibility.
