Vincent Dold
Since October 2021, Vincent Dold is a PhD candidate at Humboldt University of Berlin (supervisor: Prof. Dr. Thomas Mergel). Focusing on ego documents, he investigates the connection of gender and revolution in German socialist movements between the 1840s and the 1920s via the ideal type of the ‘female revolutionary’. Vincent Dold did his B.A. on the countercultural conception of the Historisches Museum Frankfurt (1969-1972), and his M.A. on socialist discourses and practises of gender and revolution in the German Empire, both at Humboldt-University of Berlin. He worked as student research assistant for Prof. Dr. Anke te Heesen at the chair for History of Science, HU-Berlin (2012-2018).
