Two-day Workshop! Day 1: 24.01.2018, 1pm till 6pm / Day 2: 25.01.2018, 9am till 2 pm

The compact lecture will provide students with a general overview of the rules for job applications in Germany. The focus lies on job applications outside of Academia, rules for applications in Academia will be mentioned. Participants will learn how to match their personal profile with the requirements of job descriptions and how to present their skills in a compelling way in their CV and cover letters.

Contents:

• specifics of online job search and online application
• content and design of cover letter and CV
• application documents
• Europass CV
• specifics of applications in academia

Day 1: workshop (exercises, information, script)

Day 2: individual feedback on documents - open only to participants of the workshop

The workshop will be held in English.
