Workshop: Time Flies! Time Management Skills for International Students
Workshop as part of PlanForSuccess@Marburg in the project "UMR divers: Diversität - Orientierung - Studienerfolg" of the Hessian Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and the Arts
As an international student, would you like to improve your time management skills during your studies? Do you have the feeling that you are often stressed out or feel challenged when giving yourself the last push? Maybe you also notice that you set the wrong priorities or have difficulties structuring your learning? Maybe you lack a regular daily structure, you always take on too much or unexpected events interfere with your planning? If you encounter these or other obstacles in managing your daily study schedule, this workshop could be just the right one for you. Studying requires high demands on self-organization. With good time management, you can complete your studies more successfully and calmly.
Learning objectives: After attending this interactive and practice-oriented online workshop you will be able to ...
- describe strategies to structure your study life and daily learning routine
- set priorities and goals well
- identify possible “time waster” and problematic thinking patterns in order to overcome them
Speaker: Laura Elena Neufeldt-Homolka is a psychologist (M.Sc.) and in training to become a psychological psychotherapist. Within the scope of her several years of experience in psychological counseling in the university context, she has already been able to support many students with challenges in their studies.
