07.04.2022 Welcome at the Center for Conflict Studies, Sophie Falschebner!

Before joining the research project Postcolonial Hierarchies in Peace and Conflict, Sophie Falschebner studied the M.A. Peace and Conflict Studies at the Philipps-University of Marburg and the B.A. Applied African Studies at the University of Bayreuth. Her studies involved extended stays and research abroad in Sierra Leone, the UK and Morocco. Her research interests include activism and social movements, processes of social transformation, memory, identity and conflict, security studies, and postcolonial theory. She is especially interested in the micro-dynamics of conflict and conflict transformation.
