We are pleased to welcome Rohan Stevenson as a guest researcher at the Center for Conflict Studies

Rohan Stevenson is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions-funded doctoral researcher, visiting Phillips-Universität from the University of Helsinki. In his research, he examines the ways in which 'right-wing extremism' is problematised in the counterterrorism policies of various European states. He is part of the VORTEX network (Coping with Varieties of Radicalisation into Extremism and Terrorism).

With a background in human geography and sociology, Rohan's research interests are broad-ranging. Previously, he has researched 'eco-fascist' Telegram groups, the 'hyperpop' music scene, discourses of safety in gentrification processes, and platform capitalism'.
