16.04.2024 Two Positions in the AFPRO- Project available

The project "Protest movements in transitional phases from insurgency to the consolidation of successful rebels: The AFPRO Dataset" is offering two PhD positions.

AFPRO stands for Afghanistan Protests and the project investigates how the takeover of a rebel movement (Taliban 2021) has changed the opportunity structures for protests. In other words, whether protest tactics and frequencies have changed. To this purpose, protest events will be documented and analysed five years before and five years after the Taliban took power.
