EMF – Application for EU Funding

If you are a postdoc, you may be eligible to apply for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship or a European Research Council Starting Grant.
The workshop will begin by providing an overview of the Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programs. You will then learn about the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions and European Research Council Starting Grants, their eligibility criteria, budgets, and deadlines. Philipps-Universität Marburg’s EU Liaison Officer will further provide information on grant writing for these two funding programs and the dos and don’ts involved therein.
At the end of the workshop, you will have the opportunity to ask questions pertaining to your individual situation and make an appointment for a potential follow-up.
Intended Learning Outcomes
- You will be aware of the application requirements, offerings, and deadlines of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships and European Research Council Starting Grants.
- You will know how to write successful applications for these two types of grants.

Please note that this is not an English language course. Proficiency in English at the B2 level of competency is required.

This workshop is part of the certifying program "Designing and Managing Research Projects" (EMF).
Please register via the external database AnWeiVe until May 14, 2020.
Please note that registration is always binding. You may cancel your registration up to twelve days before the course begins without providing specific reasons. Thereafter, you will be required to pay the attendance fee even if you do not attend the course.
