Online
To negotiate is a specific, yet everyday activity we engage within. Especially in the academic world, you negotiate regularly.
This workshop focuses on the techniques needed and the principles relevant for negotiating and arguing efficiently and constructively.
Starting from your very own situation, context and your typical or relevant problems, we will work hands-on on what to focus on in these interactions, how to approach topics and how to handle difficult situations in a negotiation.
You will find many opportunities to engage in practical exercises, in which you can apply the concepts and information presented.
Intended Learning Outcomes
After this workshop, you will be able to
- React to difficult situations and to demanding replies or offers.
- Find productive options within tough topics.
- Argue transparently and yet productively in a negotiation.
