Career Fair: “Karriere der Vielfalt” (Career of Diversity)
Date and time: November 28, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Place: Erwin-Piscator-Haus, Biegenstraße 15, 35037 Marburg
The fair “Karriere der Vielfalt” is a meeting place for talents from the university and various employers.
On this day, students, doctoral candidates and graduates from Marburg – and also from all over the world – come together with (regional) organizations, e.g. companies, independent organizations, administrative and service institutions.
Information on the German job market and fields of work are just as much a part of the event as the exchange of information on starting a career in Germany and making valuable contacts.

Workshops to prepare for the fair (registration required)
- October 22, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. How to apply successfully in German speaking countries
- November 20, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Internship with an impact

There are numerous presentations and workshops held at the fair. The following workshops and presentations at the fair will be held in English:
- from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Mastering Intercultural and Transcultural Communication
- from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Get that Job! Applying and Interviewing for Jobs in English
- from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. New York, Rio... Biedenkopf! Find the best jobs on your doorstep

The International Office looks forward to welcoming you at our “International Career Point”!
There, experts will provide advice on:- Finding internships, (part-time) jobs and scholarships
- Career entry opportunities in Germany
- Residency rights and work permits in Germany (experts available in the afternoon)
- Studying and/or doing an internship abroad (experts available in the morning)
- Further offers and workshops by the International Office
