This workshop addresses student teaching assistants who conduct their own courses at university.

Workshop Description

This workshop aims at preparing you for your job as a teaching assistant (in German called “Tutorin”/”Tutor”) and introduces you to basics in university didactics. On the one hand, this workshop focuses on your role as a teaching assistant. It supports you to reflect on the expectations by your institute and the students in your course (“Tutorium”). On the other hand, you learn how to plan your course based on the principle of constructive alignment i.e. creating an aligned design for outcomes-based teaching education. To this end, you practice how to phrase intended learning outcomes for your course.
