NaDiMa Dialogue #12 | Game Theory and Decision Analysis Tools for Environmental Diplomacy and Modeling Conflicts | 15 & 17 September
Agenda
Management of natural resources often involve multiple groups with disparate social, economic, and political status and needs, who are seeking a management solution for a wide range of demands. In practice, reaching a decision or an agreement requires balancing criteria and competing stakeholder priorities with respect to the involved uncertainties. This workshop provides an overview of the impacts of decision makers, their cooperative behavior, their criteria, and the uncertainties on the decision-making process and outcome. Different analysis frameworks are introduced and the participants will learn how to select and develop proper decision analysis methods for various situations to inform decision-making, resolve conflicts, and project the likely outcomes of decision-making processes.
