M.A. Modern Arab Politics, Society and Culture

The interdisciplinary Master's program combines the disciplines of political science, cultural studies and literature with regional knowledge of the Arab world. It trains students for research at the interfaces of politics, society and culture in the Middle East and North Africa and is aimed primarily at graduates of the humanities and social sciences, especially Middle Eastern studies, but also related programs. The integration of peace and conflict studies as well as religious studies will further broaden the spectrum of specific transregional perspectives and relevant methodology.
