Degree Course

We make it possible for you to engage with Iranian cultures and the Persian language in a variety of ways.

• Within the BA program Middle Eastern Studies, you have the option to focus on a variety of Iranian topics and can choose Persian as the primary language.
• If you already have a Bachelor’s degree in humanities and social sciences and have Persian language skills, then you may be interested in our Master’s program, “Iranian Studies / Iranistik”.
• It’s also possible to conduct a PhD in “Iranian Studies / Iranistik”.
• Maybe you're studying a completely different subject, but are interested in learning the Persian language or refreshing your existing knowledge? If you're studying a different subject at Marburg, you're always welcome in our language courses and seminars!
