and a member at the Center of Conflict Studies. She is currently conducting research in the DFG
subproject “Doing Human Rights: How the categories ‘human’ and ‘migrant’ are made (ir-)relevant
in everyday life” (MeDiMi).
She studied psychology and sociology at the University of Wuppertal. During her studies, she
acquired methodological knowledge in social science research. Furthermore, she gained practical
and professional experience in the areas of youth and social work as well as in community work.
She is a research associate at the Department for Sociology at the University of Marburg, member
of the DFG Research Group "Human Rights Discourses in the Migration Society (MeDiMi)“, and a
member of the Center for Conflict Studies and the Giessen Graduate Centre for Social Sciences,
Economics and Law (GGS). Her research interests lie in sociology of knowledge, practice theory,
the sociology of human rights, Methods of Interpretive Social Research, and General Psychology.
