Learning/Teaching/Training Activitie C1 (Utrecht)
The first Learning/Teaching/Training Activity (C1) within the INCOPS project aimed to support a comprehensive comprehension of Work-based Learning (WBL), integrating prior project participants' experiences with the groundwork laid in Intellectual Output O1. Initially intended as a Study Visit on site in Utrecht, the online meeting occurred on April 20-21, 2021, organized by Utrecht due to Covid-19 preventing the proposed direct engagement with on-site staff and students. Participants, consisting of project staff and international project administration experts, engaged in a structured three-part process.
Firstly, Utrecht and Marburg unveiled interim outcomes from O1, presenting the conceptual development grounded in literature review, quantitative analysis of Peace, Conflict & Security Studies (PCS) programs, and Qualitative Survey findings on WBL experiences. Subsequently, project partners outlined their WBL integration practices and associated challenges, fostering substantial discussions. Ultimately, participants synthesized survey outcomes and discussions, reflecting these insights within the O1 report, illuminating the integration landscapes of WBL in study programs. Efforts to revisit this thematic during another Learning/Teaching/Training Activity in the project were also articulated.
