Successful Project Meeting in Stockholm
Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership project "SHARINPEACE"
The Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership project Simulating Human Rights in Peacebuilding (SHARINPEACE) recently had its project meeting in Stockholm, Sweden, during 29.05.-31.05.2023. The meeting was a resounding success, bringing together project partners from across Europe to discuss and advance the project's goals.
The meeting focused on several key topics that are crucial to the project's development. One important aspect was the assessment and evaluation of the planned module on Human Rights in Peacebuilding. The project team engaged in thoughtful discussions and devised strategies to ensure that the module meets the desired outcomes and effectively addresses the needs of the target audience.
Additionally, the planning of the pilot phase for the Crisis Intervention Simulation (CRIS) was a significant agenda item during the meeting. Collaborative efforts were made to establish an effective implementation plan, considering potential challenges and necessary adaptations.
A comprehensive progress report of the entire project was also presented, allowing partners to share updates on their respective tasks and discuss any emerging issues. This progress review emphasized the commitment of all stakeholders to achieving the project's objectives.
In addition to the project-related discussions, participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with Södertörn University, one of the partner university for "SHARINPEACE" and host of the workshop. This engagement aimed to foster closer ties between project partners and deepen their understanding of the university's expertise and resources.
Johanna Mannergren Selimovic and Niklas Andersson, members of the Södertörn project team, organized an engaging workshop that garnered positive feedback from participants. Their contributions ensured a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere, enhancing the overall success of the meeting.
While in Stockholm, participants also had the chance to explore the vibrant cultural scene of the city. Visits to sites such as the Nobel Prize Museum, the Artspace at Södertörn University, and even an excursion to the picturesque island of Fjäderholmarna were organized to provide a well-rounded experience for attendees.
The project team has already set their sights on the next meeting, which will take place in 2024 in Belgrade, Serbia, and Odense, Denmark. This upcoming gathering will serve as a platform to review progress, exchange insights, and plan for the next phase of the project.
