"I recommend the case study seminar Entrepreneurial Finance to those students who consider working in a start-up or even running their own business in the future. The course of the module covers the various phases in the life cycle of a young company – from the initial business idea to a possible IPO at stock exchange. Practical relevance plays a special role: in each of our meetings, we worked together on ‘real world’ business challenges that companies encounter. I am currently setting up my own company and the module has helped me to include various factors in my planning that I had not considered before. In addition, I also like the fact that three case studies solved during the semester replace the final exam. This way, I have dealt with the module contents throughout the entire semester in an appropriate amount of time."
