  • Application-based, but not a scientific work. In other words, the topics of our Bachelor thesis are strictly application-oriented/empirical. That way you should see that clear-cut solutions from theoretical models usually become ambiguous when practically applied.

  • In principle, you can do the seminar in the summer or the winter semester, in connection with or independent of the Bachelor seminar.

  • However, we strongly recommend connecting your Bachelor thesis with your Bachelor seminar. In that event, the feedback you will receive on your seminar can be used to improve your Bachleor thesis.

  • You must choose your general topic from the following list. However, within the general topic you can choose an individual focus.

  • Only the requirements mentioned in the examination regulations; no additional requirements.

  • The parts of the courses "Entscheidung, Finanzierung und Investition" and "Intermediate Finance" that are relevant for he Bachleor thesis must be known or you must be able to learn them by yourself.

  • Advice
    • In principle, we are happy to help you wherever we can. However, we will answer only specific questions (and not questions like "Where did I make a mistake?“ or "I have no idea how to start?“).
    • Each participants gets an extensive feedback (approximately 60 minutes) on the intermediate presenation.
    • Questions regarding the basic use of Excel will not be answered.
