Profile of the Research Group of Marketing and Retail Management
We attach great importance to the implementation-oriented integration of theory and practice, qualitative and quantitative methods as well as marketing, distribution and retail management. What shapes our activities is the triad of excellent teaching, innovative research and effective contacts to practitioners. We aim to train all of our students in such a way that they can obtain attractive positions within a short period of time and achieve their self-defined career goals. Our research is empirically ambitious and, at the same time, highly relevant for various stakeholders because it helps to answer important questions. We cultivate numerous contacts with regional, national, and international businesses and institutions in the form of executive education, projects, forums and lectures.
