Collaborative Thesis

We also supervise final thesis in cooperation with intellectual sponsors (e.g., industry partner).

While this can be an interesting and challenging opportunity, several challenges come along the process of writing a final thesis in cooperation with an industry partner. Most importantly, the thesis must fulfill the academic requirements for being accepted as a final thesis (while the industry partner often has in mind a very practical hands-on “solution” to a very specific problem). As such, such an endeavor needs significant preparation time and we recommend to start your planning early (at least 3 month before the start of the thesis).
