Hanthujah Thangarajah about her MSc. Thesis: "COVID19 does not stop a great student support"
"During my master’s program in Marburg, I specialized in Accounting and Finance, and found the courses of MARG really interesting. In early 2020, I started my master thesis on the topic of European Family Firms and Firm Behavior. The thesis provided me with an ideal milieu to combine my education with real world challenges, and thus helped me apply theory into practice. My supervisor was of immense support, especially during Corona where he was available for discussions and provided continuous support. The thesis experience was valuable and I learnt how to handle vast amount of data. This gives me the confidence to undertake similar studies in the future.
In addition, I worked as a student assistant at MARG, which gave insight into the department’s research environment. The researchers were very helpful and I gained a lot of experience on how to work in research projects."
