Objective and Lecturing Style:
The aim of the course is to provide students a fundamental introduction to cost-benefit accounting. Specifically, it will be discussed how management can analyze costs in order to optimize organizational performance.
In detail, basics from the building blocks of classic cost accounting systems with cost type, cost center and cost object accounting.
After successfully attending the course students will be qualified to understand a variety of cost accounting systems. Furthermore, students will become qualified to solve problems with regard to organizational costs in management accounting in an independent and structured way.
