"Already curious during my bachelor's studies, I wanted to know the origins and basis for the graphs we studied and analyzed. Also within my circle of friends, I wanted to be able to engage more deeply in discussions and to better understand the political and economic arguments in newspapers. To prospective students I would say: Do not be afraid of math and learn to organize! You will be well-guided through your studies in Marburg. Be active and leverage the knowledge from your previous studies toward new possibilities!"

Rebecca Dietrich studies Economics at the University of Marburg and works as a student assistant at the research group Institutional Economics.
