Lorenz Blume is adjunct professor at the Economics Department of the Philipps-Universität Marburg. His favourite areas of research are Institutional Economics, Regional Economics, and Economic Policy. Within the field of Institutional Economics he is especially interested in comparative institutional analysis focusing on the economic effects of different constitutional designs (such as federalism, direct democracy, and bicameralism) in a cross-country framework. Lorenz Blume teaches the Introduction to Economics (in German) in the Bachelor’s program.
