Research Projects

To a large degree our research focuses on the people depending the most on the environment and thus, being most affected by environmental changes.  Some leading questions are: What are the impacts of climate change on human behavior? How (if at all) do people prepare for future impacts and process information of future risks? How do groups self-organize to overcome these and other challenges? What institutions are effective for governing natural resources and collective action? How is climate justice perceived and how can it be achieved?
