Reasons to study Economics in Marburg
As a student of Marburg University’s Bachelor of Science programme in Economics, you will examine the functioning of the economy as a whole, such as how the market sets prices, how international trade works, which regulations are necessary for functioning financial markets, how difficult environmental problems (such as climate change) can be solved and how the challenges posed by digitisation should be handled in terms of economic policy. The particular focus of Marburg’s Economics programme is on analysing institutions (particularly rules) in order to resolve the wide array of problems that arise in today's highly dynamic and complex societies based on the division of labour.
